(This is the charismatic in me coming out!) 🙂
How many times have you heard people say, “IF I would have done ____ then this would’ve happened” or “IF I could just get ____ then I could do this”? Many people—even myself at times—live in an “IF” world. I’m tired of living in the IF. Next time you drive pass a cemetery look at all the grave stones. I wonder how many “IF’s” are buried there. If I would’ve done this; if I would’ve done that.
Mark 5:25 (NLT) says, “For she thought to herself, ‘If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.” I’m sure you know the story from there. Imagine what would have happened had she stopped at the “if”. Would she have gotten healed? Probably not. The woman with the issue of blood had to go beyond just the “if” and actually “do.”
What is your “if”? I don’t want to die with “if’s”. Take a chance this coming year. Start walking on the water. Turn your “if” into an “I did”. God is a big God and he’s waiting to do amazing things on your behalf.
